On the beautiful weekend, i would like to share to you all mother `s recipe of  `chicken rendang` or sepecial special name `rendang ma` . chicken rendang is my favorite during Eid al-fitri.. my mother teach me how to make this chicken rendang. below is recipe.


Chicken Rendang


INGREDIENTS

1 whole chicken cut into 12
3 cups thick coconut milk
3 cups thin coconut milk
3 turmeric leaves slice thinly

INGREDIENTS TO BE BLEND

7 lemmongrass
2 large onion 
5 cloves garlic
2 turmeric root
1 candlenult
30 driend chilies
17 bird s eyes chilies

PREPAIRATION

Blend the spice ingredients until fine. put the chicken, spice blend, and cocunut milk in a pot and stir over medium heat and bring to boil.

Reduce heart and cook until the gravy chuckens. add tumeric leaves, kaffir lime leaves, asam keping, salt and sugar to taste. Cook until the meat becomes tender and the gravy is thick.
